Reception Rooms

Now take a look around the elegant reception areas. The spacious entrance lounge is the perfect place to relax with a good book, have coffee with visitors, or simply watch the world go by.

It's friendly atmosphere is conductive to leisurely conversation at anytime and if you like to socialise it is ideal for the parties and special functions which are held from time to time.

For those of a quiet disposition, the smaller dining room has it's own appeal and is a popular venue for card games.

Come into the drawing room and enjoy the company of new friends, discerning people like yourself, who appreciate comfortable furnishings and fine surroundings and the service to go with them.

Bedrooms

The bedrooms at Bramble Cottage are elegantly and comfortably furnished. They all have en-suite bathrooms and are designed for your privacy and security with a 24-hour call bell, telephone point, colour television (SKY satellite is optional). Please come and visit and see for yourself, you will be tempted to move in straight away!

All ground floor rooms have french windows opening onto the gardens and all of those on the first floor have delightful balconies where you can keep your own plants or sit and enjoy the view.

There are two elegant suites and two double bedrooms and because most of the single rooms are larger than average, you are welcome to bring your own favourite belongings. Paintings, a treasured chair or a writing desk.

You can see why Bramble Cottage is the place where you can really feel at home.

Elegant rooms both upstairs and down

Gardens Walk into the grounds of Bramble Cottage and take tea under a shady umbrella on the terrace. Enjoy the pretty landscaped garden with its sheltered southerly aspect. Stroll along to the fishpond or along the path. many a happy afternoon has been spent here in pleasant company.

		Find a comfortable seat in a quiet spot and write a letter or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Just around the corner is the beautiful Withdean Park, with its lovely rose garden, which backs on to our grounds. Discover how uniquely restful Bramble Cottage can be.

Services

Because every home is only as good as its staff, everyone employed at Bramble Cottage is carefully selected and well trained. A caring disposition and a courteous and friendly attitude are the main criteria, we always take up references, and our manager and deputy manager are there to help you.

A modern lift serves all floors. Our staff are always on hand to assist you with any personal care and specially adapted baths are available.

Rooms are cleaned daily, bed linen and towels are provided and changed as you require. your personal laundry is done on the premises.

The manager supervises all aspects of the home and will arrange for medical and dental appointments and for the collection of prescriptions.

You may retain your own doctor by arrangement.
The hairdresser and chiropodist call by appointment and there is a varied social programme with optional outings.

Additional Information

Bramble Cottage is suitable for the active elderly for both long or short term stay. It is also the perfect place for convalescence or a holiday break.

Family and friends are welcome at any time and there are parking spaces for visitors.

Fees are inclusive of accommodation, all food and personal laundry.
